    I've writen to Apsana Begum (MP, Poplar and Limehouse), urging her to support Layla Moran's (MP, Oxford West and Abingdon) Early Day Motion calling for a complete ban on LGBTQ conversaion thearapy. We need to close the door on this period in history. This homophobic, discredited and archaic practice has no place in a modern society.

    Our country did it again. We turned out at 8pm on Thursday, 2nd April, to clap, cheer and make lots of noise for our wonderful NHS and front-line staff. The sounds of clapping, cheering, banging pots and pans, sirens and horns echoed throughout London and the rest of the country. Again, the same as last week, it reduced me to tears. It was heartwarming seeing people come out and support those who go above and beyond to save lives every day.

    Yesterday, I was incredibly moved when I stepped out onto my balcony and found myself surrounded by people clapping, banging pots and pans, and applauding our fantastic front-line NHS staff.

    I am shocked to hear about the problems regarding refuse collection in St Katharine's and Wapping and across the borough. Residents are being let down by the Council's mismanagement of vital frontline services such as regular and reliable bin collections.

    Despite promises that the rubbish would be collected, it hasn't happened yet. We cannot risk another public health issue on top of the one we are already facing with the coronavirus pandemic.
